The Crucifix
The Crucifix takes inspiration from the Gospel passage John 15:1-5: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower.…. Remain in me as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit because, without me, you can do nothing.”
The Centerpiece
The Centerpiece is an exact and highly detailed replica of the original Monstrance blessed by the Holy Father Pope Francis that was designed exclusively for the 10th National Eucharistic Congress that will carry Jesus in the Eucharist into the event arena. The Host in the middle of the Monstrance is hand-enameld in white.
The Monstrance is a tribute to Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the National Eucharistic revival. “I will be with you always until the end of time” (Matthew 28:20) The Words of Matthew’s Gospel are the summary and reason for the NEC, the Real Presence of Jesus in the Consecrated Host.
The Details
The 5x7mm oval Bohemian glass beads are solid white, symbolizing purity, holiness and virtue.
The antique gold finish of the rosary components provides an heirloom look and feel, while the gold color represents the royalty and Kingship of Jesus.
